Educational Award for Toppers

Students Islamic Organisation of India(SIO) Coimbatore city organized an inter-school competition for the students of 9th to 12th by the name "Intellect-2010" on 5th Aug, 2010(Thursday).

The programmer held at podanur road sangamam hall.. About 1000 students participated in this event from various schools..

Literary competitions were started on 5.8.2010 from 8.30am onwards..

Speech, Creative writing, poem writing were conducted in both the language English & Tamil.Drawing, who is who?, quiz,intellect.mathemagic,memory test & catch the screen were the other competitions. Totally 13 competitions were conducted. All the events were conducted from 8.30am to 3pm. on the same day evening at 3pm; prizes were distributed for the competitions.

It was appreciable that the students attended excellently when the spot topics were given for creative writing, poem writing & catch the screen..

In the valedictory function held, held at 3pm, assistant commissioner of police, Coimbatore (south) Mr.balaji saravanan, correspondent of al-azhar Matric School

 Mr.uak.jailani, joint secretary of Islamic educational trust mr.syed Ibrahim felicitated the gathering and gave away the prizes. 

Ex. zonal president of sio tamilnadu Mr.AP.Nasar & Zonal secretary of sio tamilnadu Mr.Noorul hasan delivered special address on the topics "students-the real heroes of India" and "study-struggle-serve" respectively.

Coimbatore forest officer. Mr.anwardeen who consented to be the chief guest could not attend the function due to some unavoidable circumstances,,

It is notable that prizes for intellect 2010 were given on the same day for all the 13 competitions..

Every year, toppers of Xth and XII in the board examination in Coimbatore district are honored by "N.K..Mohammed Educational Award".

This year awards were given on the same day of intellect.

N.K.Mohammed Educational award and Intellect-2010 are being conducted for the past 5 years since 2005.. Intellect paves a way for the students to express and expose their hidden talents, over all trophy also given for the school which scores maximum number of points.

Mr.Sabeer ali (city president of sio Coimbatore) in his presidential address said, developing the talents of the students, encouraging them, improving the discipline and making them socially responsible are the aims of intellect.

N.K.mohammed educational award encourages the other students to take heart to study well..

The co-coordinator of intellect-2010 Br.Abbas Welcomed the gathering, SIO Cbe City Secretary Br.Kadar delivered vote of thanks. SIO tamilnadu ZAC member Br.Saleem, acted as master 

of ceremony for the valedictory function.
