SIO - Intellect
Every individual has been blessed with talents by almighty.
Talents are embedded in all. Those hidden talents have to be brought out for social cause.
One such occasion to bring out these gifts is Intellect.
Intellect is an event of Inter-School literary competition started in 2005 and it is stepping into its 6th year.
The Younger generation is full of zeal and interest to
Explore the Unexplored. As we have more human resources; particularly, youths in our country than other countries. Is our duty to train them and use them properly.
India needs talented personalities, Such Talents are identified and trained by Intellect.
Various literary competitions like oratory, debate, Quiz, etc are conducted.
To improve their creativity, competitions like drawing, creative writing, poem writing, catch the screen (film review),etc are conducted.Many students from various schools around the city participated bringing out their talents.
Intellect in the first year started for boys only and then girls were also included..
Students of class 8th to +2 participated and won laurel for themselves and their school.

Intellect trains the students the caption "Let Not Success to your head and failure to your heart".
Participation is the most important.
“Winning does not always mean being first.
Winning means you are doing better than you have ever done before”.
We have made the students participation and gain knowledge from it.
Education is the eyes. To Motivate and encourage the students who scored well in board examination X and XII, “N.K.Mohammed Educational Award” has been awarded to honour the students. It encouraged other students to take heart and excel in their studies..
Intellect will continue its work in forthcoming years too..

Warm Wishes.
The Almighty has blessed every individual with talents and gifts. They are embedded within all. We have to explore these talents. The best way to probe these talents is by participation.
“Winning does not always mean being first.
Winning means you are doing better than you have ever done before”.
This is set in the young minds. We are just going to bring out these through the competitions. It gives us immense pleasure to organize an inter school competition as a task in exploring the talent of the Students of the schools in Coimbatore. This year also we have decided to conduct Intellect-2010.
The same day evening, N.K. MOHAMMED EDUCATIONAL AWARD will be given to the toppers of 10th and 12th Std for the students of Coimbatore city of the academic year 2009-2010. It will be encouraging to other students to take heart and excel in their studies.
